The Shrieking Sisterhood Soirees

In the late1800's English journalist Eliza Lynn Linton labelled the suffragists “the shrieking sisterhood”— an unrepresentative minority.
These soirees are an opportunity for women to gather together, hear each others stories and make new connections.
All events will be held in the Velvet Saloon at The Meteor Theatre.

We are all, in the private kingdom of our hearts, desperate for the company of a wise, true friend. Someone who isn’t embarrassed by our emotions, or her own, who recognises that life is short and that all we have to offer, in the end, is love.
— Cheryl Strayed
